Commissions

I accept commissions for any type of clothing, however my main experience is with evening and bridal wear. I can produce any items that you require either from an image you may have found in a magazine, a pattern you already have, or I can create a design especially for you.

The design process for a bridal dress or evening dress will usually start with a one-on-one meeting to get an idea of what you are after, design ideas, fabrics. I can then sketch a few basic ideas down and from here produce a full design for you.

Once the design has been developed and agreed, fabric should be chosen by the client usually through an independent fabric store, of which I can recommend several.

A toile will usually be produced and fitted to ensure a perfect fit of the final product. Once the product is nearly completion, it is common that a further fitting will take place to ensure a good fit. When the item is ready, it will be steamed and you wil lbe advised promptly.

In addition to the production of new garments, I can also make any amendments or modifications to your existing items of clothing.
